Japanese label Evisu was founded by Hidehiko Yamane, with a vision to reproduce a style of denim that was similar to his vintage favourites rather than the mass produced store versions. To create the perfect raw jean, Yamane sourced machinery to produce authentic vintage denim, using old school tools with a new school vision. Creativity and innovative techniques have always been a big part of the brand. All Evisu denim was indigo dyed by vintage loop dying machines and the signature ‘m’ logo is finely hand painted by Yamane himself. Denim jeans have never been the same since thanks to Evisu’s premium quality of selvage denim.
