With an interior design background, creative director Vic Taylor introduced MKI with the idea of bringing a truly groundbreaking concept store to the heart of Leeds. Taking its name from a 1960’s Japanese tribe, the first group in Japan to wear US inspired ivy league clothing. MKI produces a modern redevelopment of the style of clothing from the movement, showcasing futuristic epistles of traditional fashion design. With a maintained ethos of clothing being a mission statement, each piece showcases an environment that is simultaneously creative and relaxed.
